Latin American Market – first three Sundays in December

Latin American December Markets

Plaza Latina welcomes the Colombian ‘Billy Elliot’ Fernando Montaño to open London’s first Latin American Christmas Market. Fresh from performing for the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall in his native Colombia, the world-class ballet dancer will also be performing his own piece inspired by legendary East Street resident Charlie Chaplin. Joined by special guests this promises to be a unique experience for all.

Plaza Latina is a 3-day Latin American inspired Christmas market to be held at Nursery Row Park (by East Street, Southwark) SE17 1AL on the 7th, 14th and 21st of December 2014. The market will open at 12pm and will close at 6pm.

Visitors will be able to peruse our mini stall village and try traditional and authentic Christmas food from across Latin America (El Salvador, Colombia, Ecuador and Brazil to name a few!) whilst browsing through gifts carefully picked and hand crafted from Latin America and across London.

Enjoy a hot rum punch as you amble up the Latino Christmas Village that leads to the magical Latin American themed marquee, where visitors of all ages can enjoy music, dance and festive traditions from Mexican Mariachis to Chilean folk dancing. We will have a number of workshops on the day in dance, theatre and music, the first being an amazing piñata workshop for children, please check for updates and to book your places!

Being the first of its kind in the UK, the Plaza Latina offers everyone the chance to experience Christmas, Latin American style. Come and celebrate Navidad in Nursery Row Park at Plaza Latina on the 7th, 14th and 21st December!,-0.0908215,18z?hl=en
